Custom text watermarks, single or tiled, for one image or a whole batch

A watermark tells viewers who made an image and discourages uncredited reposting. Meicut's image watermark tool adds custom text watermarks to JPG, PNG and WebP pictures: pick the wording, font, color and opacity, rotate to any angle, and place it on a nine-grid position or tile it across the whole image for stronger copyright protection.

Everything is previewed live on your picture before you export, so what you see is what you download. Watermark a single image without an account, or sign in free to watermark a whole batch of images with the same settings in one go. A browser-based local version is also available if you prefer processing on your own device.

  • Custom text with full styling: font, weight, size, color, opacity, outline and shadow
  • Rotate the watermark to any angle, including the classic diagonal
  • Drag to move, resize and rotate right on the preview, or snap to nine-grid presets — plus a tiled layout with adjustable gap
  • Size set as a percentage of image height, so every image in a batch gets a proportional watermark
  • Live preview on your actual image before export
  • Batch watermarking with per-file status and individual retry
  • Export as PNG, JPG or WebP, or keep the original format

Common watermarking jobs

Protect photos before posting

A small semi-transparent credit in a corner keeps your name attached when images are reshared. Set the text once and apply it to every photo in the set with batch processing.

Mark proofs and drafts

A large diagonal "DRAFT" or "SAMPLE" across the image makes sure a preview file is never mistaken for the final deliverable. Tiled layout repeats the text over the whole picture.

Brand product and listing images

Consistent logo-style text watermarks on shop photos build recognition and make stolen images easier to spot. The saved styling applies identically to every image in the batch.

Add copyright lines to artwork

A © line with your name and year, in a font that matches your work, dragged to exactly the spot you want on the preview.

Single or tiled watermark

Single

One watermark placed anywhere — drag it freely or snap to a nine-grid preset. Clean and unobtrusive, right for credits and branding where the image itself stays the focus.

Tiled

The watermark repeats across the entire image, typically at a diagonal. Much harder to crop out — right for proofs, previews and strong copyright deterrence.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I add a watermark to an image?

Upload your image, type the watermark text, then adjust the font, size, color, opacity, rotation and position while watching the live preview. Export to download the watermarked image.

Can I watermark multiple images at once?

Yes. Add several images and the same watermark settings apply to all of them, each with its own status and download. Batch processing works with a free account; a single image needs no sign-up.

Can I tile the watermark across the whole image?

Yes. Switch the layout to tiled and the text repeats over the entire picture with an adjustable gap. A diagonal angle is applied automatically, and you can set any rotation you like.

Will the watermark look the same on images of different sizes?

Yes. The font size is set as a percentage of image height rather than fixed pixels, so the watermark scales proportionally on every image in a batch.

What image formats are supported?

Upload JPG, PNG, WebP, BMP or GIF images and export as PNG, JPG or WebP, or keep the original format. SVG files are not supported; convert them to PNG first.

What happens to my uploaded images?

Files are uploaded for processing, then expire and are deleted according to your account rules.
